UFRA professors visit to UGA
On September 23rd, 2013, the Portuguese Flagship Program sponsored the BSA Lecture Series, an event promoted by the Brazilian Student Association. The lecture, entitled The Federal Rural University of Amazonia: teaching, research and extension for sustainable development in the Brazilian Amazon, introduced to UGA students the Federal Rural University of Amazonia (UFRA) – Brazil, its graduate programs and research activities. Hugo Pinheiro and Marcel Botelho, visiting professors from UFRA, led the discussion on the aforementioned topics.
